Uttar Pradesh might look modernized in today’s times but the State dates back to as old as 4000 years. With important rivers such as the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati cutting through this State, early settlement took place due to the fertile lands. Indian Railways also operates all through this State with some of the major junctions being located in Lucknow, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra, etc.
Best Time to Visit:
The summer season in Uttar Pradesh is unpleasant with temperatures soaring high and increasing the risk of sunstroke. So it is best to visit from October to March. However, if you want to attend a particular festival then the timings of the same have to be taken into account.
