Day-wise itinerary
Our driver meets you at Ngurah Rai Airport with a flower garland. You drive to your hotel in Kuta and check in to a Deluxe Room. The rest of the day is free. Walk to Kuta Beach or rest after the flight.
Tip: Pay the Bali tourist levy online at lovebali.baliprov.go.id before you fly. It saves a queue at the airport.
After breakfast, you head to Tanjung Benoa. You ride a banana boat, drive a jet ski, and go parasailing. In the evening, you drive to Uluwatu Temple. It sits on a cliff about 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. You watch the Kecak fire dance as the sun sets, then return to Kuta.
Tip: Monkeys at Uluwatu grab sunglasses and phones. Keep both in a closed bag.
You take a boat to Nusa Penida for a full day on the island. You see Kelingking Beach, the cliff shaped like a T-rex. Next come Broken Beach, with its natural rock arch, and Angel’s Billabong, a rock pool by the sea. You end with a swim at Crystal Bay. Lunch is an Indonesian meal on the island. The boat brings you back to Kuta in the evening.
Tip: Water is not provided on the island tour, so carry your own. Island drivers may speak little English.
You check out of your Kuta hotel and drive north. At Kintamani, you look out over Mount Batur and its crater lake. You walk through the Tegalalang rice terraces. At Alas Harum, you ride the jungle swing; the entry fee and swing are included. You stop at the Ubud Art Market, then check in to your Ubud hotel.
Tip: Carry cash for the art market. Bargaining is normal there.
Today you drive into the Bedugul hills. You stop at the Wanagiri viewpoint and then at Handara Gate. Next is Ulun Danu Beratan, the temple on Lake Beratan. You end the day at Tanah Lot, the sea temple, for sunset. You return to Ubud for the night.
Tip: Bedugul is cooler than Ubud. Pack a light jacket.
After breakfast, you check out of your Ubud hotel. Our driver takes you to Ngurah Rai Airport for your flight home.
