The journey to Tsomgo Lake, at an altitude of 12,400 feet, covers approximately 37 kilometres from Gangtok and takes about two hours. One of Sikkim’s most serene and picturesque spots, this sacred glacial lake boasts crystal-clear waters that reflect the snow-capped peaks.
Next, visit the New Baba Mandir at 13,200 feet and just 16 kilometres from Tsomgo Lake. This sacred shrine is dedicated to a soldier whose spirit is believed to protect the region, offering visitors peace and spirituality.
This day is reserved for those looking to explore an additional adventure, the historic Indo-China border point of Nathula Pass, at an extra cost. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure after spending a whole day surrounded by the beauty of nature and culture. Relax in Gangtok in the evening.
