    Day wise Itinerary

Day 01: Colombo to Kandy - A Journey Through Heritage

Begin your Sri Lankan adventure with a warm welcome at the hotel, followed by a visit to the cultural city of Kandy. Our first destination is the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a pioneering refuge since 1975. Located in Rambukkana, equidistant between Colombo and Kandy, this 24-acre refuge bears witness to its dedication to the protection and care of orphaned elephants.

The Sri Lanka Wildlife Department founded it and has since expanded to include the world’s largest captive elephant herd, the first of which was born in 1984.

Day 02: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya - The Heart of Tea Country

Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on Kandy’s rich heritage. Start at the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth), a sacred Buddhist temple said to enshrine the holy relic of the Buddha’s tooth.

Constructed between 1687 and 1707, this temple is not only a religious site but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlighting Kandy’s role in preserving Buddhist faiths.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya to Yala - Scenic Transitions and Natural Wonders

Following breakfast, take a scenic train journey from Ella to Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya), famous for its stunning scenery and railway heritage in Sri Lanka. The train ride offers spectacular views of the Nine Arches Bridge and Ella Gap, a natural landscape that has fascinated tourists for centuries.

Two images: a train crossing a bridge and another train near a beach, showcasing different scenic locations.

Day 04: Yala to Bentota - Wildlife and Coastal Charms

Start your day off with a thrilling morning safari at Yala National Park, which was set up in the 1890s as a game sanctuary. The park is famous for its diverse wildlife and the historical significance of Sri Lanka’s conservation movement.

Day 05: Bentota to Colombo Airport - Farewell

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Colombo Airport for departure. As you depart, take with you the rich fabric of Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and natural world, holding on to the memories of this remarkable experience.
