Dabbe Falls of Shimoga is famous for its serenity and beauty. The waterfall is near Hosagadde village in the Shimoga district of Karnataka.

Dabbe falls are naturally cascading falls offering a magical view to visitors. Since the waterfall is a part of the Sharavati Valley of the lush green Western Ghats, it surrounds itself with pristine beauty.

Dabbe Falls is a delight for all nature lovers. The obvious reasons are the vast stretch of greenery surrounding the waterfall, along with a path through a dense forest reaching the waterfall. This unpolluted environment is far away from city life's noise and pollution and the steep fall of water that descends with incredible velocity before it calms down to flow quietly.

Dabbe Falls is associated with a legend of the Hindus as well. Legend has it that during Mahabharata, Bheema (the second brother among the Pandavas) had visited the region on his way to Sougandhikapushpa to get his wife, Draupadi. It was this place where Bheema had worshipped Lord Shiva and obtained a boon from him. A temple situated in this region stands as a testimonial to the incident.
